The quintessential requirements for a fashion model are a tall, svelte figure, confident walk, a love for acting and a good IQ. This profession is not for feeble minded and faint hearted.
In Vedic astrology we consider 27 Nakshatra or star groups that act like a template for different personalities. Most people with a rudimentary knowledge of so called Sun signs know a little bit about what their signs say about them. Very few know that Nakshatra give very pertinent and detailed information about a person’s persona. Before I go further I would like to explain what I mean when I say template.
Examples of templates
If you and I meet for the first time and you tell me that you live in Lutyn’s Delhi, It immediately tells me that you are connected to the government in some way. If you tell me that you live in a house located at Tughlaq road, my estimation of your political connections goes up. It tells me that you are a well-placed individual with a high status.
If you introduce yourself as a person living in Golf links area, you are likely to be an affluent and wealthy person or a diplomat. These are generalizations but they say a lot about you.
The Nakshatra that support a career as a fashion model are Ashwini, Bharani, Chitra, Swati, Vishakha, Anuradha and Jyeshtha. I am not saying that other Nakshatras cannot produce a successful model but a large population of successful models will be peppered across these Nakshatra.
Taken sequentially, Ashwini, Bharani, , Chitra, Swati, Vishakha, Anuradha and Jyeshtha are ruled by Ketu, Venus, Mars, Rahu, Jupiter ,Saturn and Mercury. The signs that these Nakshatra belong to are Aries, Virgo, Libra and Scorpio.
What are the prerequisites for a fashion model to be successful?
1. Lagna (rising sign) and Lagna lord (ruling planet) should both be strong.
2. The ascendant (rising sign) should ideally fall in signs that give a tall figure. These signs are Gemini, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius.
3. Venus and Mars should be powerful. They give the required grace and stamina to the walk.
4. The lord of the ninth house should be strong. This makes them famous and fortunate.
5. The lord of the tenth house should be strong and favorable. This is essential for career growth.
The million dollars question that arises is what happens if the factors mentioned above do not find fulfillment in your horoscope? Is one’s career then relegated to the backwaters without any hope of smooth sailing? The answer is most definitely not. By taking appropriate remedial measures, most problems can be remedied. The sails can be furled again to a welcoming wind. That fact that you are a model, means that you have a good horoscope to begin with. All that might be required is a little tweaking. It might take a bit of doing but it is always a good idea to spend time finding the key than to keep banging one’s head on an unyielding door.
