Time, Is It Cyclical or linear - A fresh look at Indian Yug System Part 3

The US housing market went into a nosedive from the end of 2005 to the end of 2006. Even though the slump was the worst since 1982, initially it was explained away as of little consequence. The Commerce Department announced that the construction of new homes fell in January 2006 by 14.3%. Real estate prices fell in half of the nation’s major markets and home sales declined in forty states. Arizona, Florida, California, and Virginia had disastrous results. This was not all, the department of commerce also reported that 2006 saw a step increase in the number of vacant homes by 34% bringing the net figure to 2.1 million.

Things haven’t changed much since then. The inventories are up, the sales are down, and profits have eroded considerably. The aftershocks of the housing crash are being felt throughout the economy. Unemployment has grown and consumer spending has shrunk. The economy is in a stupor and refuses to wake up.

So the trillion-dollar question is what caused this?

Real estate and movement of planets have a direct relationship. Let us examine the movement of Saturn from July 2002 onward because this is where the genesis of the real problem is.

Saturn entered Gemini which is the seventh house from the ascendant in the horoscope of US and the fifth from the Moon. In a nation’s chart the fifth house represents amongst things, stock exchanges and birth rates. The seventh represents foreign policy.

A little bit of history
The September 11, 2001 attack on US had greatly rattled the economy. It was at this time that Alan Greenspan, a shrewd economist introduced low interest rates. It was a deliberate act to lure in unsuspecting borrowers who felt they could improve their stagnant wages by joining the housing gold rush. It was a calculated attempt to mask a deteriorating economy by expanding personal debt.

The Wall Street and the stock market were thus primed for a major thrust by Greenspan to suck in public money. The entry of Saturn into Gemini was to act as a trigger.
Saturn entered Gemini and crossed over Mars on July 29, 2002. Mars is the lord of the fifth house in US horoscope and represents speculation. Enron and World Com meltdown with the active connivance of the Wall Street were the direct results of this transit. These failures set the stage for further trouble, and lowered confidence in the economy.
Since seventh house represents foreign relations, Saturn’s transit also brought about the second Middle East war with Iraq. This added to inflationary pressures to hurt the economy even further.

Saturn transited over Venus (also placed in the 7th house) on July 23, 2003 and unemployment rate rose to 6.3% in July 2003. No surprises there as Venus rules over two houses the sixth and the eleventh of debts, injury, defense, labor and revenue.

Saturn first transited over Jupiter placed in the 7th house, on August 16, 2003, he became retrograde and transited over Jupiter for the second time on May 02, 2004. Jupiter rules over the general situation of the populace and land, buildings, agricultural farms and opposition party. It was the second transit of Saturn over Jupiter that caused the housing crisis.

On April 9, 2003, as Saturn entered Gemini, the combined aspect of the two planets fell on the 4th house in the nation's chart that deals with real estate and brought about profound long term changes in that sector.
